Bharat Ratna Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, generally known as Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, was the 11th President of India (2002-2007).Dr APJ abdul kalam is a career scientist later he was turned as a politician, abdul kalam was born and raised in Rameswaram. kalam studied physics and aerospace engineering. At the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) and Indian Space Research Organisation He spent the next four decades as a scientist and science administrator, mainly(ISRO) and was intimately involved in India’s civilian space program and military missile development efforts. Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam was also a part of Indian Movie ‘I m Kalam’ and this movie had released in 2011, for inspiring the youth this movie had shooted and the movie was about APJ abdul kalam.He thus came to be known as the Missile Man of India for his work on the development of ballistic missile and launch vehicle technology.

Personal Life of Abdul Kalam:

APJ Abdul Kalam came from a financially poor background and used to distribute newspapers after school, to support his family’s income. APJ Abdul kalam himself remaining a lifelong bachelor. Abdul Kalam was the youngest of five siblings, The Eldest of whom was a sister, Asim Zohra (d. 1997), followed by three elder brothers: Mohammed Muthu Meera Lebbai Maraikayar (b. 1916; aged 99), Mustafa Kamal (d. 1999) and Kasim Mohammed (d. 1995). apj abdul kalam was very close to his elder siblings and their extended families throughout his life, and would regularly send small sums of money to his older relations. APJ Abdul Kalam studied in Saint Joseph’s College, Tiruchirappalli and graduated with a degree in Physics, in 1954. abdul Kalam get a scholarship and also joined a course to study aerospace engineering from Madras Institute of Technology. APJ Abdul kalam has initially started his scientific career by developing a small helicopter for the Indian Army.
